The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will travel to China with the French president Emmanuel Macron in two weeks. European Commission spokesman Eric Mamer announced it via a Twitter message.
“President von der Leyen will give a speech at the Mercator Institute for China Studies and the European Policy Center on EU-China relations next Thursday. She will then travel to China with French President Emmanuel Macron the following week,” Mamer's tweet read.
