A protective shield has been set up on a storage site for spent nuclear waste at the Nuclear Power Plant Zaporizhzhia, to protect it from bombing and drones.

This was stated by Russian official Vladimir Rogov. “For now, it will protect against shrapnel and drone-launched improvised explosive devices,” Rogov said, adding that the shield will later be strengthened.
