The possible indictment of the former president of the United States has still been postponed Donald Trump, into which an investigation is underway by the Manhattan district attorney's office regarding the 130 dollars paid to porn star Stormy Daniels in 2016 to keep silent about her previous relationship with the Republican leader. This was reported by the broadcaster "CNN", citing two sources according to which the grand jury will not deal with the case during today's meeting. It is therefore likely that the investigation will be concluded next week, when the grand jury will be called to express itself by a majority on the evidence gathered by District Attorney Alvin Bragg. The indictment and arrest of a former president would be unprecedented in the United States. Also for this reason, the grand jury asked to hear further testimony before ruling. According to sources from the broadcaster "CNN", the district attorney's office is also evaluating a new meeting with Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen, who admitted that he personally handled the payment to Daniels during the election campaign in 2016, to deny the testimony given in recent days by another lawyer of the former president, Robert Costello, who reported to the press that he had "destroyed" Cohen's credibility.
