The president of the Spanish government, Pedro Sanchez, will visit Beijing on March 30 and 31 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping. As reported by the newspaper "El Confidencial", this is what was confirmed by the minister of the Presidency, Felix Bolanos. In recent months, Spain has expressed a firm position on NATO's side in the war in Ukraine, but the Iberian leader has often insisted on emphasizing that China is the country that can put "the most pressure" on the Russian president, Vladimir Putin to obtain a ceasefire.
