The gas bill for the typical family in November 2023 consumption protection is decreasing, falling by 1,3 percent compared to October. The component of the gas price to cover supply costs (Cmem,m), applied to customers still protected, is updated by Arera - reports a note - as the monthly average of the price on the Italian wholesale market (the PSV day ahead) and published within the first two working days of the month following the reference month. For the month of November, which saw wholesale prices drop compared to those recorded in October, the price of gas raw material alone (Cmem,m), for customers with contracts under protected conditions, is equal to 42,53, XNUMX euros/MWh.
The overall change of -1,3 percent for the typical family for the month of November is entirely determined by the decrease in spending on natural gas. However, the general charges and the tariff linked to the cost of transport and measurement remain unchanged.
