Russian drone hits the Zatoka bridge, the only road connecting Bessarabia to the Odessa region

The destruction of the Zatoka bridge by the Russians could, in theory, indicate the intention of Russian forces to invade Bessarabia, to threaten Odessa from the southwest, as well as from the east

An explosive-laden surface drone hit the Zatoka bridge, the only way that connects the Bessarabia to the rest of the region of Odessa and, therefore, to the rest of Ukraine. The news was released by the Russian media, including the "Info24" portal. Previously, this bridge was often subjected to rocket attacks.


 

Bessarabia is located in the south of Moldova, between the estuaries of the Danube and Dniestr rivers. The destruction of the Zatoka bridge by the Russians could, in theory, indicate the intention of Russian forces to invade Bessarabia, to threaten Odessa from the southwest, as well as the east.
