Chinese and Brazilian enterprises signed more than 20 partnership agreements on the sidelines of the economic seminar Brazil-in China, sponsored by the Foreign Ministry and the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex), in Beijing, China. This was reported by the Foreign Ministry in a note. "The event, which was attended by over 500 Brazilian and Chinese entrepreneurs, aimed at contributing to the consolidation and diversification of commercial relations and investment flows, with a focus on energy transition, innovation and sustainability", we read.
“New partnerships in the Chinese-Brazilian private sector were announced on the occasion. The more than 20 agreements concern the sectors of energy transition and the fight against climate change, trade and services, infrastructure and construction, oil and mining, as well as industry, agribusiness, finance, health and information and communication technology”. In attendance were the Brazilian Minister of Agriculture, Carlos Favaro, the Chinese Deputy Minister of Commerce, Guo tingting, the president of Apex, Jorge Viana, and the president of the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Investments (Cciip), But Xiuhong. The event was followed by a sectoral conference on startups, innovation and the digital ecosystem and agri-food business meetings.
