In 2022, gross domestic product (GDP) in Ukraine fell by 30,4 percent. This was announced by the press office of the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy, according to which this percentage coincides with the official preliminary forecasts of the government.
As stated by the Minister of Economy of Kiev, Yulija Svyrydenko, "during 2022, the Ukrainian economy suffered the greatest losses and damages in its history of independence, caused by the Russian Federation".
