An Italian-Russian resident, Ruslan Sidiki, from the city of Ryazan was arrested for committing terrorist attacks. This was announced by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) and the Investigative Committee of Russia. The prisoner was accused of organizing an explosion on November 11th on the railway line Rybne, in the Ryazan region, which caused 15 carriages of a freight train to derail.
“The culprit turned out to be a resident of the Region of Ryazan born in 1988, who has citizenship of Russia and Italy. During interrogation, the detainee confessed to the crime,” the Investigative Committee reported. The man confessed to having been recruited by the Ukrainian secret services last February in Istanbul and then trained in Jekabpils, Latvia. Last March he returned to Russia.
