TO Castellammare di Stabia a 42-year-old was arrested and taken to the Poggioreale district house in execution of a precautionary custody order in prison issued by the judge for preliminary investigations of the Torre Annunziata Court in acceptance of a request by the Oplontine prosecutor's office.
The man is accused of mistreatment against his partner, the disputed facts range from 2021 to 3 September 2023. According to what was reconstructed by the police, the man began to abuse his partner when she improved her physical appearance by undergoing surgery for obesity. From that moment the man, we read in a press note, made the woman live "in a climate of terror and a persistent state of anxiety for her own safety and forced her to take refuge in a protected facility".
The 42enne, we read further, “he repeatedly attacked the woman both physically and verbally, addressing her with denigrating and humiliating epithets; she would have obsessively monitored the victim's movements, preventing her from going out alone even to go shopping, would have checked her clothing and would have taken possession of her mobile phone, in order to monitor her conversations". In August 2023 the man allegedly slapped and threatened her partner with death; on September 1st he allegedly attacked her wife by grabbing her by the neck and twisting her finger.
