In Lazio, hit today by gusts of wind and bad weather, they have been recorded in the last 24 hours three deaths due to road accidents. Two deaths occurred at Rome, one in Monte Sacro the other in Monte Mario, another fatality occurred in Viterbo. In the first case, the person who died following the impact was a 45-year-old motorcyclist who was traveling along via di Tor San Giovanni on a Honda Sh around 20pm and was coming from via Bufalotta.
According to the first reconstructions made by the traffic police on site, the man would have lost control of the vehicle: in fact, there were no other vehicles involved in the accident. In the Camilluccia Monte Mario area, however, an elderly pedestrian fared the worst: he was an 88-year-old who, around 18 pm yesterday, was crossing via Pieve di Cadore, at number 30, near the pedestrian crossing: l The man was hit by an Opel Meriva driven by an 33-year-old, who tested negative for alcohol tests. In Viterbo, however, an 81-year-old from the province of Caprarola died who shortly after 18pm last night was traveling along the Sp 22 on board an Opel Corsa together with a 69-year-old friend. The car, for reasons yet to be clarified, overturned and there was nothing that could be done for the 19-year-old. The friend, however, was transported to hospital in serious condition.
