An Iranian court orders the US to pay 50 billion dollars for the death of General Soleimani

An Iranian court ordered the United States to pay nearly $50 billion in damages for the general's death Qassem Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution (the Pasdaran), killed in Baghdad on January 3, 2020 from a US drone. This was announced by the Iranian news agency "Irna", reporting the sentence of the Tehran court of justice.


The court would have examined the complaints received from a total of 3.318 compatriots from all over the country, and then condemned the US government to compensate a total of 49 billion and 770 million dollars for "moral and material damages".

According to the Iranian Judicial Authority agency “Mizan Online”, the court found 42 people guilty, including the former president of the United States Donald Trump and officials of his administration.
